Programing for adults

IN-PERSON STUDY: The Bible & Pop Culture-Engaging pop-culture and the arts for spiritual practice and theological reflection. Led by Rev. Ryan Wilson

For five weeks, beginning April 14, you are invited to join this in-person exploration of our faith and its intersection with five areas of popular culture: music, film, literature, visual art, and other media. By engaging with these common elements of our everyday life and culture we can look for ways that God’s truth and beauty might be present in unlikely places.

Registration required. Space is limited based on current COVID-19 guidelines.

VIRTUAL STUDY via ZOOM: Contemplative Prayer Practices-Led by Guest Facilitator, Rev. Dr. Steve Booth

Adults interested in learning more about contemplative prayer practices can join a virtual five-week study led by guest facilitator Dr. Steve Booth. Taking place via Zoom, Dr. Booth will lead participants to understand and utilize such practices as Lectio Divina, Centering Prayer, Welcoming Prayer, and Examen of Conscious. With four decades of ministry experience, Dr. Booth has served as a congregational minister, spiritual director, Christian educator and clergy coach. This Zoom study will take place Wednesdays at 6:30pm beginning April 14.

Registration is required but space is not limited.

Programing for youth

Youth grades 6-12 are welcome to join us in the Youth Center for a five week study on some of the most notorious villains in the Bible. We will be studying characters like Nebuchadnezzar, Judas, the Roman Emperors, and more.

Programing for children

Each age group will learn more about God and our faith through music, creative arts, Bible study and a mission project.
