Finding Life Balance in the New Year

Dr. Greg Rogers, our Interim Pastor, will be leading a Wednesday evening study beginning January 11 on Sabbath practice as a prescription for experiencing greater life balance in a holistic way. This Wednesday evening study will complement his Sunday morning sermon series beginning January 8 on finding balance in our busy lives as we begin a new year. We will use the following resources: Sabbath: Finding Rest, Renewal, and Delight in Our Busy Lives by Wayne Muller, which includes exercises and suggestions for practicing Sabbath at the end of each chapter. The study will also include the video series featuring Dr. Matthew Sleeth, M.D., a former emergency department physician, entitled 24:6: A Prescription for a Happier, Healthier Life. You can learn more about Dr. Sleeth’s Sabbath resources at here. Books are $10 and can be ordered from the office here.

The Enneagram Journey – A small group spiritual formation cohort.

Beginning January 11, join this 12-week small group cohort to learn about the Enneagram, an ancient formation tool for understanding motivation, behavior, and experience. This curriculum is led (by video) and prepared by Suzanne Stabile, a master enneagram teacher and author, and its purpose is to teach an intellectual understanding of the Enneagram, learn your Enneagram Number, and facilitate transformation and growth in a community to help you promote personal and spiritual growth. The Enneagram Journey is a shared experience designed to help you connect with other members of your group and learn with and from each other. To learn a bit more about the Enneagram, visit this website. Facilitated by Mia and Ryan Wilson. Wednesdays, 6:10-7:20. Cohort limited to 20 people. Cost is $20 per person for curriculum material. Additional cohorts will be made available in the future. To sign up, or for questions, contact Ryan Wilson:
