Adult Study–beginning January 12

1. “Winning the War in Your Mind”- Led by Joe Kenney and Brian Van Voorhis, with two ways to participate.

Join Joe Kenney and Brian Van Voorhis and others for a 12-week study and discussion of Craig Groeschel’s book, “Winning the War in Your Mind.” Join the in-person study on Sunday mornings or participate virtually by Zoom on Wednesday evenings. For Sunday morning, there are two class options: join the Explorers Class led by Joe Kenney in room 114, or the Paraclete Class led by Brian Van Voorhis in room 205. Both classes meet at 10am and are located in the Fellowship Hall Building.

Here’s a brief description of the book & study: Pastor and bestselling author Craig Groeschel knows from personal experience the daily battle against self-doubt and negative thinking. In Winning the War in Your Mind, he offers practical advice and biblical insight that will lead to a brighter, healthier future.

2. ’Sticky Faith’ Parenting – Led by Dave & Susan Leonard

Through a compelling blend of real-life stories and interviews with parents, this five-week video curriculum drops you into the latest national family research, and into the hearts of parents discussing their own struggles, successes, and ideas that have shaped lasting faith in their own families. Join with other WFBC parents and friends for a small group, discussion-based, reflection on parenting and a faith that lasts in our kids and families. Wednesday nights in room 119/120, from 6:15pm to 7:15pm.

3. Art+Faith – Led by Dorothy Bowman and other WFBC artists

Are you an artist? Are you someone who like to create? Or are you someone who admires art and the work of creating meaningful things? Whoever you are, we all have stories of how art has impacted our life in some way – whether we know it or not – and we’ve all had experiences where our faith and art have intersected. Join us on Wednesday nights in the Fellowship Hall for a 5-week presentation and practice of a variety of ways that art and faith intersect. Hear from WFBC artists, Dorothy Bowman, Ryan Keith, and Alice Leonard, and participate in your own journey of reflecting, creating, and exploring this meaningful intersection. Wednesday nights, 6:15-7:15 in the Fellowship Hall.
