IMPORTANT UPDATE – MEN’S RETREAT CHANGES
Due to ongoing operational challenges as a result of Hurricane Helene, Montreat Conference Center has ultimately determined they are not able to host our group at this time as they had hoped to still be able to do. However, we have secured alternate accommodations in Black Mountain and are still moving ahead with a men’s weekend Nov. 8-10 that will now be taking shape as a men’s disaster relief mission trip and retreat weekend.
Opportunities are available for Thursday night lodging and Friday relief work, as well as the standard Friday and Saturday accommodations with Saturday relief work. Those already registered for the existing men’s retreat will be receiving communication very soon. Anyone not signed up but interested in going for a weekend of time together with WFBC men and opportunities for relief work in Western NC, there are still some spots available. Contact Ryan Wilson with questions. Future opportunities for partnership and mission in Western, NC will be coming available for our wider congregation in the coming, weeks, months, and even years.
