Dr. Greg Rogers
Interim Pastor and Transition Coach
Greg has recently retired from his 35-year tenure as Senior Pastor at Oakmont Baptist Church in Greenville, North Carolina. He has served in numerous leadership roles on various community and denominational boards, agencies, and councils. Greg is a mentor to mentors and has developed and led initiatives for helping pastors and churches thrive in a changing culture.
Greg earned a B.A. degree in philosophy and religion from N.C. State University, and Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
An ICF Associate Certified Coach and High-Performance Patterns coach, he coaches individuals, congregations, and businesses, as well as serving as a speaker and retreat leader. He has worked with individuals and teams exploring mission, vision, and core values, as well as spiritual formation, missional engagement, ministry and work transitions, and personal issues. He brings his own spiritual and pastoral experiences in serving congregations for over 46 years as resources to the coaching relationship.
In his leisure time he enjoys competitive tennis, biking, and reading. Greg and his wife Leslie, a retired community college administrator, have been married for 44 years. Both their son and daughter are married, and they are blessed to enjoy five grandchildren.
Rev. Ryan Wilson
Minister of Spiritual Formation & Administration
Ryan Wilson joined the Wake Forest Baptist staff in 2020. He graduated from Furman University and then earned his Master of Divinity in Global Christianity from the McAfee School of Theology. Ryan is married to Mia and they have three children; Bates, Elsie and Benjamin.
Rev. Bryant Moxley
Minister of Music & Worship
Bryant Moxley joined the Wake Forest Baptist staff in 2014. He is a graduate of Ouachita Baptist University and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. Bryant has two daughters and sons-in-law: Anna and husband Steven and Sarah Grace and husband Adam.
REV. LEAH HARLOW
Minister of Youth & Missions
Leah Harlow joined the Wake Forest Baptist staff in 2017. She earned her undergraduate degree in Christian Studies at Bluefield College in Bluefield, Virginia. She received her Masters of Christian Leadership from John Leland Seminary in Arlington, Virginia. Leah married her high school sweetheart, Cory and they have four children, Eliana, Naomi, Isaac, and Lucas.
Ms. Emily Patton
Interim Minister of Children & Families
Emily Patton joined the Wake Forest Baptist Church Staff in 2023 as the Interim Minister to Children and Families. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in Elementary Education, and then received her Masters of Divinity from Campbell University Divinity School. Emily is passionate about creating a warm and comforting space where people of all ages can deepen their understanding of God’s unwavering and unconditional love and share it with the world.
Ministry Assistant to Children, Youth, and Missions
Lynnette Beadle joined the WFBC staff in 2022. She graduated from Wake Forest University with a degree in Communications, and has a background in meeting and event planning. She provides administrative support for our Children’s. Youth, and Missions ministries. Lynnette is married to Bob and they have 2 teenage daughters, Sophie and Anna. She and her family are active members of WFBC.
Music Ministry Assistant/Worship Pianist
Jennifer Taylor joined the WFBC staff in 2023. She is a graduate of Campbell University. She provides administrative support for all aspects of the music ministry, assists with worship leadership, and accompanies various ensembles. She and her husband Ken have two children, Ben and Abby. They have been members of WFBC since 2010.
Dr. Jeanine Skinner
Claire Olson joined the Wake Forest Baptist staff in 2022. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Global Affairs and Latin American Studies, and a Master’s of Public Administration in Nonprofit Management, both from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. Claire and her husband, Tyler, live in North Raleigh with their son, Ashton.
Stacy Fleming joined the Wake Forest Baptist staff in 2021 as the Communications Specialist. She graduated from University of Tennessee with a degree in Communications. She is responsible for internal and external publications as well as the website, social media, and whatever else comes up. Stacy is married to Mark and they have two children, Hannah and Tori.
Linda Lang has been at Wake Forest Baptist Church since 1999, serving as our Financial Secretary. She graduated from the University of South Florida with a degree in Accounting and later became a licensed CPA. Linda is married to Dean and they have two daughters, Chloe and Jessica.
Rodney Davis, a native of Wake Forest, serves as our head custodian along with his staff. Rodney is married to Phyllis and they have three children, Rodney, Jr., Lisa, and Billy. He and Phyllis also have three grandchildren.
WEE Preschool Director
Laura Wolfe has been with Wake Forest Baptist Church WEECare Preschool since 2004, serving as Program Assistant and currently serves as the WEECare Director. She is a graduate of Chowan University and East Carolina University. Laura is married to Tom and they have three children, Thomas, Sawyer, and Anna.
WEE Preschool Assistant Director
Kennie Schwier is the Program Assistant for the WEE Preschool after previously serving as a teacher assistant. She is a native of Wake Forest and graduated from Appalachian State University. Kennie is married to Dave and they have two sons, Jacob and Brady.
