Lent Playlist

Enjoy this music playlist, specially curated to guide you through meditations in this Lent Season.

Lent Reading & Reflection Guide
In this reading and reflection guide from the Fuller Center for Spiritual Formation, you are invited to weekly readings from the Gospel of Luke, finishing on Easter Sunday with the resurrection, appearance, and ascension of Jesus. Each reading takes less than 20 minutes, and each week’s reading has accompanying commentary and reflection questions. As you enter Lent, we hope you will accept the invitation to watch, listen, and journey with the Scriptures and others. As you do, may God’s love grow more deeply in your mind, heart, body, and soul so that you might love others well. Printed copies will be available in the church lobbies through Lent.

Labyrinth Meditation for Ash Wednesday & Lent

As we enter the season of Lent, we invite you to focus intentionally on the spiritual disciplines of almsgiving, prayer, fasting, and storing treasures. This simple, meditative resource includes an illustrated labyrinth, a meditation on a scripture passage, liturgy for the Imposition of Ashes, some space to journal, and a short prayer that can help set your intentions for Lent. Hard copies are available in the church lobbies. To request a digital copy, please email Ryan Wilson, Minister of Spiritual Formation & Administration.

Dying to Live – A Lenten Video-Based Liturgy and Reflection

Each Friday during the season of Lent, concluding on Good Friday, a video will be released on the WFBC YouTube channel and Facebook page containing a short (10-15 minute) Lenten reflection and devotional liturgy, led by Rev. Ryan Wilson, Minister of Spiritual Formation & Administration.  These videos are intended to help provide a centering space at the end of the week as a practical spiritual discipline during the season of Lent.
