“Where there is no vision, the people perish.” (Proverbs 29:18) Several years ago our church determined to be sure that never happened here. Our Long Range Strategic Process, so appropriately named “His Vision Our Mission”, challenged us to prayerfully discern God’s future story for Wake Forest Baptist Church. At every step it was critical that our mission be understood as the direct result of God’s vision for our church. We prayed, we met in many small group discussions/prayer time, we studied “Experiencing God” in Sunday School and we finally came together for a “Summit” meeting on a Saturday morning. God has guided us every step of the way. The challenge now is for us to claim God’s dream for WFBC and be participants in bringing it forth. In the documents below you will find what will be our road map for these next few years. How exciting it is to know that our dreams for the future are even greater than our memories of the past. Every member is invited to be Kingdom Builders and join in this remarkable journey of faith.
